The Cultural Association of Patsides will once again honour the memory of all those who took part in the legendary abduction of German General Kreipe, which took place in our area on April 26, 1944.

On Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 11:00, a memorial service and wreath-laying ceremony will be held at the abduction monument in Patsides, organised by the Cultural Association.

A ceremonial address and speech will be delivered by Mr Giorgos A. Kalogerakis, PhD in History from the University of Ioannina – Educator.

It is of great importance not to FORGET these significant dates and the people who fought — even giving their lives — for FREEDOM!
