A beautiful hike is being organised by the Mountaineering Club of Heraklion on Sunday, 7 December 2025.

As described by the organisers:
“We begin our hike at the Lassithi Plateau (810m). Following dirt roads and footpaths, we reach the area known as Tsouli Mníma (940m) – the execution site and cursed resting place of the notorious janissary Tsoulis. From there, we descend along the ancient Minoan trail and finish in Kastamonitsa (520m), nestled at the foothills of Mount Dikti.”
