The Cultural Association of Patsides is bringing back the tradition of the Cretan kantada on Wednesday, 18 June 2025, from 8 PM, and the entire village will come alive.

As the association proudly announces:
“This year, we are delighted to welcome the Cultural-Nature-Lovers and Hiking Association of Archanes ‘Charavgi’, the Archanes Cultural Association, the Vathypetro Cultural and Beautification Association, the Cretan Expression Workshop of Antonia Pantelaki, and the Papadokostas Group. A host of Cretan artists, dancers, and mantinada poets will also be joining us.”

A traditional treat will follow, hosted by the Cultural Association: boiled rooster with makarounia and anthotyro, plenty of local Patsides wine, songs, dancing and mantinades all night long!
