The Municipality of Heraklion extends an open invitation to everyone – young and old – to take part in the Kastrino Carnival 2026, on Sunday, February 15.

As every year, the Kastrino Carnival marks the highlight of the city’s Carnival festivities. The municipality invites schools, kindergartens, athletic clubs, cultural associations, Treasure Hunt teams, and all kinds of groups to take part in this lively celebration.

Fun, joy, music, dancing and singing will fill the streets during the grand parade of costumed revellers. The parade will start at 14:00 from 18 Anglon Square, go down 25th August Street, pass through Lions Square, and end in Eleftherias Square via Dikaiosynis Avenue, where the party will go on with carnival music and dancing.
