The Municipality of Platanias, in collaboration with local organizations, invites you to a special evening of music, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mikis Theodorakis, one of Greece’s most iconic composers.

The event will take place on Thursday, 10 July 2025, at 21:00, under the light of the July full moon, at the enchanting Cave of Agios Ioannis in Marathokefala, part of the Municipal Community of Spilia – a site rich in symbolism and natural beauty.

The evening, titled “The Moon Goes Wandering”, features solo performances by Giannis Sinis, singing some of Mikis Theodorakis’s most beloved songs, accompanied by the atmospheric sound of Manolis Flemetakis on the bouzouki.

Admission is free.
