On Sunday, 28 June 2026, the Agios Nikolaos Mountaineering Club is organising an easy circular hike in the Myrsini area.

“Our hike will begin at the entrance to the village. We will then walk through the village, a natural ‘balcony’ overlooking the sea, enjoying the views. Following rural roads, we will climb towards the hill of Agrilos, where the finest wine in the area is produced. We then descend towards Mesa Mouliana, passing the beautiful Kefalovrysi stream valley and enjoying views over the small valley filled with orange trees, before strolling through the village’s picturesque alleyways.

We will stop for a coffee at the welcoming local cafés, depending on the group’s mood, and then take the return route along the old national road. The walk is easy and suitable for almost everyone, taking place almost entirely on dirt roads.

DEPARTURE: from Agios Nikolaos (K. Karamanli 23, Vasilopoulos Supermarket) on Sunday morning at 08:00. Transport to the area will be by private cars. Participants are kindly asked to contribute €5 to the driver. Those travelling directly should meet at the Myrsini parking area at approximately 08:45,” the announcement states.
