The festive season at CRETAquarium culminates this year on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, with the traditional Blessing of the Waters ceremony taking place around 1:00 PM, officiated by His Eminence Archbishop of Crete, Eugenios.

The aquarium will operate with regular admission tickets from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. From 12:30 PM onwards, a limited number of FREE invitations will be distributed, allowing visitors to enter and watch the Blessing of the Waters from designated viewing spots, guided by the aquarium’s staff.

Please note: For safety reasons, capacity limits will be strictly observed, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

After the ceremony, visitors who weren’t able to attend the blessing due to full capacity will still be welcome to explore the aquarium until 4:00 PM.
