The municipality of Minoa Pediada is getting ready to welcome Christmas, starting with the lighting of the Christmas trees in the hearts of its three municipal districts. The celebrations will kick off in Thrapsano on Sunday, December 7, continue in Kastelli on Wednesday, December 10, and conclude in Arkalochori on Sunday, December 14, 2025. All events are organised in collaboration with local cultural associations and community groups.

Mayor Vassilis Kegeroglou, together with the vice mayors, the municipal council and local organisations, invites everyone—young and old—to join in and light up the Christmas spirit. Each tree lighting will be accompanied by special festive activities, full of music, joy and surprises. The full schedule of events will be announced in the coming days.

Christmas Tree Lighting Schedule:

• Sunday, December 7, 2025 – Thrapsano (Central Square), 7:00 p.m.
Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. with activities for all ages.

• Wednesday, December 10, 2025 – Kastelli (Eleftherias Square), 7:00 p.m.
From 5:00 p.m. onwards, enjoy a variety of family-friendly events.

• Sunday, December 14, 2025 – Arkalochori (Town Hall Square), 7:00 p.m.
Entertainment and festive happenings start at 5:00 p.m.
