AEGEAN has been distinguished for the 15th consecutive year and the 16th time overall in its 27 years of operation as the “Best Regional Airline in Europe” at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026.

This distinction from the internationally recognised airline rating organisation Skytrax is an important recognition of the trust and appreciation of the travelling public, while also serving as tangible recognition of AEGEAN’s consistent commitment to quality, service and the continuous enhancement of the travel experience.

The company also retained, for yet another year, 4th place in the global ranking for the title of “Best Regional Airline in the World”, confirming its consistent presence among the leading regional airlines worldwide.

The Skytrax World Airline Awards are the most widely recognised and independent international evaluation of airlines.

The winners are selected exclusively by travellers themselves through the world’s largest passenger satisfaction survey, a fact that has established the awards as a benchmark for excellence in the aviation industry. For this reason, they are often described as the “Oscars of aviation”.

The award ceremony took place at a special event in London, at The Langham Hotel, where executives and members of AEGEAN’s crews accepted the distinction on behalf of the company.
