Little treasures with stories to tell, full of colour and joy, will once again fill Georgiadis Park in Heraklion, from 12 to 28 September 2025, for the annual charity “Second Hand – Helping Hand” Bazaar, now in its 21st year.
Every day, from 10am to 8pm, hundreds of lovingly donated items in excellent condition will be waiting for visitors to give them a second life: books, jewellery, home décor, glassware, embroidery, linens, kitchenware, toys, and so much more — all looking for new friends, new homes, and a second chance.
Every purchase is an act of solidarity and tangible support, as the proceeds from this much-loved city event go directly toward the vital work of the Association, which for the past 25 years has been at the forefront of preventing and tackling all forms of violence and abuse against women and girls.
The Association of Women’s Associations of Heraklion & Heraklion Prefecture warmly invites every local and visitor to come to the Bazaar, browse, discover, and shop with purpose — multiplying the value of giving.
This year’s “Second Hand – Helping Hand” Bazaar will also include parallel events as part of the “PREVENT–STOP VIOLENCE PROJECT”, carried out in collaboration with the Bodosakis Foundation, the non-profit Immortaliting, and the Cypriot NGO Support Center, with co-funding from the European Union.
