Following an official invitation by His Eminence Kyrillos, Metropolitan of Ierapytni and Siteia, His Eminence Prodromos, Metropolitan of Rethymno and Avlopotamos, will bring the Holy Skulls of the Four New Martyrs of Rethymno to Sitia on the occasion of the feast of Saint Catherine the Great Martyr, the Patron Saint of the city, during the two-day celebration on 24 and 25 November 2025.

This sacred visit is meant to bring blessings to the faithful of the local Church.

His Eminence will be accompanied on this spiritual pilgrimage by Rev. Protopresbyter Nikolaos Nikiforos, General Vicar of the Metropolis, and Rev. Protopresbyter Dimitrios Tsakpinis.
