This season’s Euroleague is shaping up to be the most unpredictable and most competitive in recent years. The Final Four returns to Athens after 19 years, the number of teams has increased to 20, and with it, the overall level of play has been elevated.

Heraklion in Crete will be our first chance to get a real taste of top-tier European basketball. The Aegean Omiros College CRETE International Basketball Tournament (IBT) is back for its 5th consecutive year, and this time, it's bigger and better than ever. From September 19 to 21, the stars of the Euroleague will gather in Crete.

Olympiacos, led by Giorgos Bartzokas, will take the court for the first time in front of its Greek fans this season. Fournier, Evans, Vezenkov, and the rest of the red-and-white stars are ready to put on a show.

Joining them:
– Olimpia Milano, who made big off-season moves including Gudurić and Čančar
– Fenerbahce, reigning Euroleague champions, bolstered by two new NBA arrivals (Boston, Bacot)
– Crvena Zvezda, coached by Giannis Sfairopoulos, with Monéke and Nwora added to the roster

These four elite teams are coming to Crete to test their strengths and expose any weaknesses ahead of the Euroleague opener on September 30. In fact, Crvena Zvezda will host Olimpia Milano in the first official game of the season.
