The Star Alliance Lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport was named “World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge” at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026, retaining the top distinction in its category for the third consecutive year. The Alliance’s lounge at Los Angeles International Airport took second place, giving Star Alliance the top two positions in the category at this year’s awards.

This latest distinction caps a decade during which Star Alliance lounges have consistently held the top position worldwide in the air travel industry. The recognition reflects the Alliance’s continued focus on improving the travel experience and its commitment to making journeys involving more than one airline simpler and more seamless.

The awards ceremony was held at The Langham Hotel in London, attended by senior airline executives and leading representatives of the global aviation industry.

The 1,300 sq. m. Star Alliance Lounge is located in Terminal 1 at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and has been operating since October 2023. Its contemporary design incorporates distinctive French touches, creating a comfortable setting with separate areas for relaxing, working and dining before a flight.

Notable features include a specially designed bar in the reception area, a dedicated wine space inspired by France’s long winemaking tradition, and panoramic views of the airport runway.
