Abundant, lush, and striking Cretan nature, an ancient river fed by the southeastern foothills of Psiloritis, an abandoned yet picturesque traditional settlement, watermills, an ancient aqueduct, an acropolis, and a deep sense of history along the way — these are just some of the experiences awaiting us on the upcoming hike with Dromoi Zois.

Raftis, Litheos River, Gortyna, Ampelouzos, and a 4.5-hour route combining dirt roads, trails, and off-trail sections (nopath) will shape our journey this coming Sunday.

If time allows, there will be an optional visit to the brand-new archaeological museum of the area, a real gem!!!, or free time in a nearby picturesque village, where we will slow the pace and…
