Athletes taking part in the 1st Ammoudara – Kritsa Night Road Race (6,300m) on Sunday, 19 July 2026, will have the opportunity to enjoy an exceptional sporting experience in the embrace of the Cretan countryside, in the area of the settlement of Ammoudara in the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos.

The race secretariat will operate on Sunday (19/7) from 17:00 to 20:00 in order to support registrations taking place on that day and to provide participants with their race material, including a commemorative T-shirt, race number, electronic timing service and commemorative medal.

The race will start below the church of Prophet Elias and next to the old national road, heading west towards Mardati, then north towards the Almyros wetland, and afterwards east towards "Parathyri". There, athletes will reach the starting point, complete two laps, and finish once again at the starting point.

For the 6,300m race, trophies will be awarded to the top three men in the overall standings and the top three women in the overall standings.

The age categories are as follows:

• Men's Categories: up to 39 years old, 40-49 years old, 50-59 years old, 60+
• Women's Categories: up to 39 years old, 40-49 years old, 50-59 years old, 60+
