Get ready for joy, colour, and endless fun as the City of Heraklion and the Deputy Mayor for Culture bring the spirit of Carnival back to life with a series of vibrant events for the 2026 Apokries (Carnival season).

Kastrino Carnival 2026
The celebrations will reach their peak with the Kastrino Carnival Grand Parade, taking place on Sunday, February 15 in downtown Heraklion. As always, the event is open to everyone — young and old — inviting all to take part in the cheerful madness and join in the dancing, music, and costumes.
