The Local Committee of German Language Teachers (PEKAGEPE branch) is organising the 6th Easter Egg Hunt (Ostereiersuche) on Saturday, 4 April 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Agios Titos Square in Heraklion.

The event takes place with the support of the Municipality of Heraklion, Europe Direct, and the Goethe-Institut, as well as the kind sponsorship of Kounalaki Publications and “Veneris” Bakery.

Students from all primary school grades are welcome to take part, forming teams of five, each accompanied by a responsible adult. Participation declarations can be submitted through the German teachers at schools or via the QR code available on the event posters.

Beyond the Egg Hunt itself, children will have the chance to discover German Easter traditions and enjoy a lively programme of games and creative activities.

Lovely surprises await both the winning teams and all participants.
