“Next Sunday, we feed all five senses by climbing to the summit of Crete, on an exciting hiking ascent that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime, if they truly want to taste and feel the real Crete...

We head towards the last remaining patches of broken snow, on a route that will give participants the opportunity to admire and take in the endless views from the chapel of Timios Stavros, at the top of Psiloritis. Believe us, there is no better place to enjoy almost the entirety of Crete. Mountains, ridgelines, plains, villages and seas stretch out before us — the Aegean to the north, and the South Cretan and Libyan Seas to the south.

Lakkos Mygerou – Timios Stavros. Essentially the shortest and easiest route to the summit.

An enjoyable easy-difficult excursion into the incomparable Cretan countryside.

Bring with you a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, enough water and optionally cinnamon cordial or sour cherry drink and a glass.
