The Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Heraklion will be filling the streets with festive rhythms during two special Carnival music walks. These will take place on Tsiknopempti, February 12, and on Friday, February 20, 2026, as part of the Heraklion Carnival events organised by the city’s Deputy Mayoralty of Culture.
🎺 Tsiknopempti, February 12
The music walk will start at 19:00 from Eleftherias Square and continue along Dikeosynis Street, with brief stops near Daskalogiannis Square, then on to Lions Square, ending on Idis Street.
🎷 Friday, February 20
This second music walk will also begin at 19:00 from Eleftherias Square, following Daidalou Street, stopping at Lions Square, and continuing through Tagmatarchou Tzoulaki, Idis, 1821, and Kosmon Streets, ending at the Bembo Fountain in Kornarou Square.
