The Cultural Association of Roussochoria, "Agia Fotini", invites you to the Agnopita Festival, which will take place on Tuesday, 30 June 2026, at 21:00, in the courtyard of the Roussochoria Primary School.

The event is one of the most important annual celebrations in the area, aiming to preserve and promote Cretan tradition, local gastronomy and the cultural heritage of our region. The traditional agnopita, prepared with pure, local ingredients, will take centre stage, offering visitors a unique culinary experience.

The evening’s programme includes a large Cretan feast featuring the well-known lyra player Grigoris Samolis and his band, who will provide an unforgettable night of traditional music, singing and dancing.

A special highlight of the event will be the dance group of Stelios Karlakis, which will present traditional Cretan dances, showcasing the richness and vitality of local folk culture.

The Agnopita Festival is not only a celebration of flavour and entertainment but also an opportunity for people to come together, connect and strengthen community bonds in an atmosphere of hospitality, culture and authentic Cretan tradition.
