On Sunday, 25 October 2026, the 3rd Milatos Cave Sacrifice Mountain Bike Race (MTB) will take place in Milatos, under the auspices of the Hellenic Cycling Federation. The event is co-organised by the "DRIROS" Cycling Club, the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos and the Milatos Cultural Association.

As every year, the race will feature two circular routes:

• A shorter route, approximately 1 km long, through the upper village of Milatos, from Panagia to Agios Dimitrios.
• A longer route, approximately 8 km long, starting from Panagia, following the coast towards Balos, climbing towards Milatos Cave and returning to Panagia (see attached images).

For the safety of athletes, residents and visitors to Milatos, all local residents are kindly requested to follow these guidelines:

• From Saturday, 24 October, please do not park vehicles in Panagia Square, as this area will host the race registration desk and the starting and finishing point of the routes. After the race, a meal will be provided for all athletes, accompanying persons and volunteers.
• From Saturday, 24 October, please avoid parking vehicles or placing bulky objects in the narrow streets of the upper village through which the race will pass.
• On Sunday, 25 October, from approximately 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, all drivers and pedestrians are requested to follow the instructions of police officers and volunteers regarding traffic arrangements.
