PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION: LOST
The fast pace of modern life, coupled with the disappearance of urban open spaces and restricted access to public goods in Greece, has led to a strange transformation of what we consider normal. In these extreme shifts, there’s often an instinctive resistance to unconditional acceptance. Art frequently becomes the vehicle for this reaction.
As we wander through the shadows of what’s been lost, we begin to find beauty in the search and reconstruction. Lost values, emotions, and desires. Lost time, lost opportunities, lost homelands. Lost in our thoughts and in ourselves.
We invited our ‘students’ to explore the mystery of the lost through the medium of photography, making us fellow travelers in this journey. Each image is a voyage across the surface of the lost—an attempt to capture the invisible and evoke memory. Lost places and abandoned moments are brought back to life.
