As part of the 2nd Arts and Culture Festival of the Municipality of Hersonissos, the 1st Apricot Festival will take place on Tuesday, 22 July 2025, at 21:00, in Koxari, in the courtyard of the old Primary School.

This celebration is dedicated to one of the most beloved fruits of summer and aims to become a local tradition, strengthening the community’s identity, heritage, and outreach.

The event’s programme includes:
– A Cretan music night with Giorgis Fasoulas and Kostas Kalergis
– Traditional sweets, jams, and liqueurs made from apricot
– Games and creative activities for children with Eleni Koukoullaki, folk art educator
– Treats for everyone

Also participating are the Pancretan Folklore Association and the Olympic Culinary Team, led by the acclaimed Consulting Executive Chef Giorgos Damianakis, founder of the Academy of Art & Gastronomy and president of the Olympic Culinary Team.
