Krousonas is getting ready to put on its carnival costume and welcome the 11th Krousonas Carnival on Sunday, 15 February 2026—a vibrant celebration of joy, creativity, and community spirit.

As the official announcement puts it:

“The carnival parade will kick off at 13:00, filling the village streets with colour, music, and carnival energy. Right after that, the fun continues in Krousonas’ main square with a big carnival party featuring DJ Poulorinis, bringing rhythm, dance, and endless good vibes.

The carnival will be hosted by Anastasia Bitzileou, while the Antikroustoi music group will make a dynamic appearance, adding their unique sound and energy to the experience.

This year’s carnival theme sends out a powerful and timely message:
‘Together, we can.’
Through the diversity of each participant, the idea is that we are all equal—that collaboration, respect, and unity can bring us together and make us stronger.

In this spirit, the carnival groups for this year are four, each made up of imaginative, contrasting yet complementary duos:
Mustard – Ketchup
Salt – Pepper
Soap – Sponge
Whiskey – Cola

Participant registrations are taking place at the Magazin store in Krousonas, where you can also buy your group’s official t-shirt, featuring a custom design.
