Discover Sitia on Foot!

Begin this easy stroll through Sitia at the Archaeological Museum. Take your time to relax at the charming cafés and restaurants overlooking the sea and the port. After passing the small pond with ducks and the coast guard station, you’ll find a park with numerous displays offering information about the region’s history.

Further east, you'll come across the lighthouse, known as Exo Fanari. Continuing past the sewage treatment plant, the route brings you back to the town, leading to the Kazarma Fortress. Today, Kazarma hosts the Kornaria cultural events.

End your walk with a glass of raki and some local delicacies at one of the delightful rakadika by the port. The entire route takes about two hours.
