The Pebbled Beauty of Psaromoura Beach

Beaches

ABOUT

Psaromoura Beach is conveniently situated merely 500 metres away from the main beach of Agia Pelagia. Shielded from the northwest winds, it has earned a reputation as one of the busiest beaches in the area. Local lore attributes the name Psaromoura to the combination of the words ‘psari’ meaning ‘fish’ and ‘mouri’ meaning ‘cape’.

To the north of Psaromoura, a sizable rock with numerous folds (composed of the characteristic phyllite rock of the area) provides protection from the waves, creating a serene environment on the beach. Just behind this rock, a tiny secluded beach forms, making it an ideal spot for those seeking tranquillity away from the crowds.

Psaromoura Beach is well-equipped with parasols, sunbeds, and a convenient canteen for visitors' comfort. Additionally, there is a car park above the beach, facilitating easier access for all.
