Church of St Nikiforos the Leper Sirikarios

In Syrikari, Kissamos, the birthplace of our Blessed and Theophoric father Nikiforos the Leper, a Holy Pilgrimage Church stands in his honour.
Every year, on 3rd and 4th January, and on other occasions, crowds of believers gather at the church and the adjacent house of the saint to pay homage.
The paternal home of St Nikiforos has been refurbished and converted into a pilgrimage site, housing a shrine and icon of the saint, just 150 metres away from the church.
