In accordance with current legislation in Greece, smoking and the use of tobacco products in any form are prohibited in all workplaces, transportation stations, taxis, passenger ships, trains, buses, aeroplanes, as well as in all enclosed public places, including restaurants, nightclubs, and others, without exception.

However, there are designated smoking areas where smoking is permitted.
