Get ready for the Tomato Festival 2025, part of this year’s Falasarnia festivities!

The event is set for Monday, August 4th 2025, starting at 9 p.m. at the 5x5 football field in Platanos, Kissamos.

Cretan musicians Giorgos Fratzeskakis and Giorgos Stratakis will be leading the entertainment for the evening.

As the Cultural and Beautification Association of Platanos "Enotita" puts it:
"Where Platanos whispers old stories…
Where the tomato is not just a fruit, but memory, flavour and celebration…
There, we come together again this August Monday
to breathe new life into a tradition that began years ago and was revived last year with the warmth of the people.
A night dedicated to our land, our people,

Traffic info: To help everything run smoothly, the road from the village entrance (left of the stone fountain) to the Adamopoulos souvlaki shop will be one-way—uphill only.
