The Malia Choir once again invites all children of the area to sing the carols, announcing the Resurrection of Lazarus while sharing the message of nature’s renewal, under the guidance and direction of Mrs Marianna Kelarakis.
Wearing wreaths of spring daisies in their hair and holding small baskets to collect eggs, they will wander once more through the neighbourhoods and picturesque alleys of Malia.
And so, almost magically, we will gather at 10:30 in the morning at the former Malia Town Hall, letting our senses and memory lead the way—drifting back in time like rainwater, returning to childhood. A place where the senses hear, see, smell, touch and taste, and with a pure heart and sincere love, gather the elements from which the future is built.
We kindly invite all residents to welcome the children, supporting the Choir’s work in preserving and passing on our traditions.
