An excursion to the Talai Mountains is organised on Sunday, March 29, 2026 by Dromoi Zois.
The invitation reads as follows:

“We get to know the mythical home of the first Robot in history… Talai Mountains!!!
(don’t be alarmed by the ‘mountains’ — this is mainly a family-friendly excursion).

Starting from the area of Apladianoi, we will head uphill for a gentle crossing of this beautiful region of the Talai Mountains, taking in views of the Geropotamos valley at first and then the northern coastline and Bali, where our route will end.

A calming walk alongside the ever-beautiful Cretan nature, perfect for unwinding — even the most easy-going types are welcome to join us… we’ll shake them up if needed :)

Our goal is simple: to have a great time and recharge our batteries for the week ahead. There will be free time in picturesque Bali (especially lovely this time of year).

Bring your own plate and fork.
