The Directorate of Public Health & Social Welfare of the Heraklion Regional Unit, having taken into account the results of the microbiological analyses of seawater samples collected from a coastal area in Ammoudara, Municipality of Malevizi, announces the lifting of the swimming ban in the coastal area of Ammoudara.

Specifically, swimming is now permitted in the coastal area of Ammoudara, located west of the former EGOI Stadium, within a distance of approximately 150 metres on either side of the stormwater outfall (central discharge point coordinates: 35.337756593091946, 25.090882634891003), which runs beneath Erotos Street in Ammoudara, Municipality of Malevizi.
