The Heraklion Archaeological Museum will operate under the following schedule from 1 November 2025 to 31 March 2026, following a decision by its Administrative Board:

1. Opening Hours

November 2025 (until 30.11.2025)

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 08:00 – 18:00

• Wednesday: 13:00 – 18:00

December 2025 – March 2026 (01.12.2025 – 31.03.2026)

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 08:30 – 15:30

• Wednesday: 10:00 – 17:00

2. Last Entry

Visitors will be admitted up to 20 minutes before closing time.

3. Public Holidays

The Museum will be closed on:

• 25 & 26 December

• 1 January

• 25 March

4. Other Observed Holidays

On other official public sector holidays, such as Epiphany and Clean Monday, the Museum will be open from 08:30 to 15:30.

5. Announcements of Special Opening Hours

Any changes or exceptions to the regular schedule will be announced on the Museum’s official website.
