A new accessible sea access ramp for people with disabilities (AmEA) has been put into operation at Tsoutsouros Beach.
The new facility, located at the municipality's only port on the eastern side of the beach (Pourgonero area), provides people with disabilities and mobility difficulties with safe, dignified and independent access to the sea, significantly improving their daily experience.
The project includes wooden access walkways, a specially designed changing room for people with disabilities equipped with a shower and an autonomous photovoltaic system, a portable access mat for wheelchair users, shaded areas, information signs, and a designated accessible parking space, creating a fully accessible and functional environment for people with disabilities.
