Fully renovated and with all its exhibition spaces open, the Natural History Museum of Crete, University of Crete, welcomes visitors of all ages to explore its established and new exhibitions.
From November 1, and throughout the November–April period, the museum’s opening hours are:
- Monday to Friday: 09:00–15:00
- Saturday and Sunday: 10:00–18:00

A highlight of any visit is “Enceladus,” the museum’s earthquake simulator. In this specially designed space, visitors can experience earthquakes ranging from 5 to 7.6 on the Richter scale, learn more about the phenomenon and find out how to respond appropriately during an earthquake.
