The biggest music event of the summer is approaching, and Matala is getting ready once again to welcome thousands of visitors for three days: 4, 5 & 6 July 2025!

For the 12th consecutive year, the Matala Beach Festival, a tradition born from the people’s love, promises unique moments filled with music, dance, and freedom, right where the “flower children” once lived carefree.

The event is organized by "Matala Dimos Faistou Monometochiki Dimotiki S.A.", the Municipality of Faistos, and the Cultural Association of Pitsidia – Matala, in collaboration with the Region of Crete and supported by Youth Crete.

The Matala Beach Festival is one of the largest free-entry music festivals in Europe, offering three days of fun, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences by the famous beach with the caves.

With four unique stages, the festival hosts top bands and artists from the Greek and international music scene, delivering an unforgettable show under the Matala sky:

🎶 The Cave Stage – A high-energy scene in front of the majestic caves.
🕺 The Square Stage – In the heart of Matala, with non-stop beats and a party vibe.
🎸 The Tree Stage – Set against the carved olive tree, with Lounge Vibes by Kimzu.
🎶 The Bridge Stage – Over the iconic graffiti “Today is Life, Tomorrow never comes”, where the waves break!

Stavento and Daphne Lawrence promise to shake us, enchant us, and make us dance to their rhythm, with no one to answer to!

Also joining is Nefeli Fasouli, taking us on a musical journey “In Your World” on the world’s most famous beach!

They are joined by GEMMA, Alone Together, Vangelio Fasoulaki, Dimitris Grigorakis, Leona, Hermaphrodite’s Child, and tribute acts of Queen, Hendrix, and 50s & 60s Medleys.

And of course, the Ultimate DJ Midnight Parties at the Cave Stage and Bridge Stage with Frankie Lucc, Reign of Time, Queen G, Keffy, Anthony, and many more!

As part of its parallel events, the Matala Beach Festival also features:

🎶 The Matala Busking Project, where independent street artists fill the village with music and art.
🎨 The Matala Street Painting, a colorful celebration transforming the village into a living artwork on Sunday, June 29th!

The Matala Camping, the area’s hotels, the colorful venues, and the legendary atmosphere of the festival will welcome the thousands of visitors ready to experience MBF 2025 in the ultimate summer music setting!
