On Sunday, 12 July 2026, the Agios Nikolaos Mountaineering Club is organising a nature and religious hike for its members and friends to the chapel of Agios Paisios, located at Arkolakia on the Kavalaras mountain range.

The group will set off very early in the morning from Neapoli Square and follow a trail that passes through ravines, the Paschaligo woodland, and kermes oak-covered hillsides before reaching the summit, where hikers will enjoy beautiful views over the plain and the sea and attend the morning church service. Afterwards, the group will descend back to the starting point.

DEPARTURE: From Agios Nikolaos (K. Karamanli 23, Vassilopoulos Supermarket) on Sunday at 5:45 a.m.
Neapoli Square: 6:00 a.m.

HIKING DURATION: 2–2.5 hours
