The 8th Arvi Banana Festival will take place from 7 to 9 August 2026. The programme is as follows:

The Festival grounds will be open to the public every day from 19:00 and admission to the venue will be FREE!
During the Festival, visitors will be offered free homemade banana sweets, banana liqueur prepared by the women of the village and, of course, bananas!
There will also be a photographic exhibition featuring images from the past and present of Arvi.
The 8th Arvi Banana Festival forms part of the initiatives promoting the Cretan Food Culture and contributes to achieving the goals of the project:
