The Municipality of Heraklion is once again hosting the 3rd Multicultural Festival “Flavours and Melodies of the World”, on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 18:30 to 22:00 at Georgiadis Park, with free entrance for all.
The festival celebrates the stories, traditions and cultural contributions of migrants and refugees, marking World Refugee Day (June 20). This year’s focus is on social inclusion through food, music and art.
There will be interactive activities for adults and children, live music and dance performances, and a culinary journey across cultures, featuring dishes from local migrant and refugee communities.

🩺 First aid provided voluntarily by EPIDRASIS Humanitarian Response Team
Organized by the Municipality of Heraklion with PLOIGOS Development Agency, as part of the HELIOS+ programme by the International Organization for Migration, with support from UNHCR, Region of Crete, DEPANAL and ROUVAS S.A.
