Ahead of the Feast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos on 8 September 2026, when the Holy Monastery of Panagia Antifonitria of Myriokefala in Rethymno celebrates its feast day, KTEL Chania-Rethymno S.A. has announced the following extra bus services to facilitate pilgrims travelling on the eve and the day of the feast.

• Departure from Rethymno to Myriokefala: 06:00, 08:00, 11:30, 14:30, 16:00, 18:00, 20:00
• Departure from Chania to Myriokefala: 17:30
• Return from Myriokefala to Rethymno: 06:50, 10:30, 14:00, 15:15, 17:00, 19:00, 22:30
• Return from Myriokefala to Chania: 22:30
