Wines of Crete is organising the Cretan Wine Gallery, a special wine event dedicated to the richness and diversity of the Cretan vineyard, on 12 and 13 September 2026, at the Loggia in Heraklion, from 18:00 to 22:30.

For two days, the public will have the opportunity to discover the Cretan vineyard through a distinctive Self Pour Fair experience, tasting wines from 31 wineries across Crete and more than 100 labels of Cretan wine.

The event is an open invitation to wine lovers, industry professionals, visitors and anyone wishing to discover the contemporary wine identity of Crete.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a complete and distinctive wine experience, with the support of professional sommeliers, who will be present throughout the event. The sommeliers will guide visitors through the tastings, offering information and useful advice on the varieties, characteristics and different styles of Cretan wines, helping each visitor discover the labels that best suit their preferences.

Crete has a long and distinctive wine tradition, which in recent years has been evolving dynamically, combining indigenous varieties and tradition with modern winemaking. The Cretan Wine Gallery aims to showcase this journey and present the contemporary face of Cretan wine to the public.
