Accessibility has been upgraded at the Yannis and Eleni Garedaki Museum of Typography in the Chania Craft Park, with the installation of two special stairlift chairs designed to assist visitors with mobility difficulties.
Thanks to this new addition, visitors can now enjoy safe and comfortable access to the Museum’s first floor, where the exhibition on the History of Writing, the art book exhibition “Thread at the Edge of the Labyrinth”, and the room dedicated to Photography are hosted.
This initiative forms part of the Museum’s ongoing effort to provide the highest possible level of accessibility and to further improve the visitor experience, with the aim of creating a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone.
The Museum of Typography, which for years has welcomed thousands of visitors, schools and organisations from across Greece and abroad, continues to invest its own resources both in preserving and showcasing the history of Typography and in enhancing the services offered to the public.
Please note that the Museum is open to the public Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm, and Saturday 10am–3pm.
