The Municipality of Platanias is organising a group painting and photography exhibition entitled “4 Seasons in the Municipality of Platanias”, which will be hosted at the Voukolies Polycentre of the Municipality of Platanias, from 12 August to 11 September 2026.

The exhibition brings together paintings and photographs inspired by the Municipality of Platanias and the four seasons of the year. Through different artistic perspectives, the works highlight the natural landscape, villages, monuments, architecture and distinctive images of the area.

The participating artists are:

Maria Angelaki, Michail Alexakis, Chrysoula Glampedaki, Marianthi Theodoraki, Nefeli Kalogeraki-Petra, Anna Kartaki Petraki, Christina Kanitsaki, Anton Kwantes, Matthaios Koukakis, Lucyna Kukosz, Maria Ledaki, Matthaios Makaronas, Georgia Mavrogeni, Anna Balantinaki, Eleftheria Bitzanaki, Angeliki Boraki, Ippolyti Papakostidi, Kaiti Pentari-Psaraki, Tiffany Riley, Manama Rostiashvili, Aria Roumeliotaki, Eleni Tzagkaraki, Evangelia Tzagkaraki, Kalliopi Tsimitsi, Eleni Frantzeskaki-Kataki, Dionysis Charisis and John Houston.

For the exhibition’s presentation, technical advice was provided by Ioannis N. Archontakis, Director of the Chania Museum of Contemporary Art – Elaiourgeion.
